Praise our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28}!

     When I first heard of Sister Beverly Rose, it was via a flyer my beautiful mommy had bestowed upon me, advertising a Christian youth concert.  Without hesitation, I called Miss Rose, affectionately called 'The Anointed Rose', to inquire if I could perform a song or two of the Christian Rap Music ALMIGHTY JESUS our GOD Had Given unto me.  Of course I had a couple of surgeries this past April and was unable to keep my Worship-Performance obligation, but that didn't prevent Mrs. Rose and I from having a viable correspondence.

     When Mrs. Rose would attend HOLY BIBLE Study at my mommy's Church, she'd give my mother cd's to give to me in order that I'd be blessed.  To my pleasant surprise the creative CHRIST-GLORIFYING Opus, "JESUS Came Looking For Me (2015 - Big As Life Records)" is a delightfully-crafted ten song album which is as upbeat as it's Reggae Gospel style of recording.

     Hailing from the coasts of Jamaica, Miss Rose records with a producer, and travels all the way from our Nation's Capitol, Washington, DC, via Greyhound unto New Jersey to record.  She is very particular about her craft and insists unto the Glory of GOD that she receive the best sound ALMIGHTY JESUS would give her, ensuring that the quality of music is at its plateau.  With this in mind, we now come to the album, 'JESUS Came Looking For Me'.

     With the first song, the title track, 'JESUS Came Looking For Me', Mrs. Rose delves briefly into her testimony that the devil had her bound, and "JESUS Came Looking" for her, even when, as with most of us, she wasn't looking for HIM.  It is a wonderfully-crafted upbeat tempo song that as with the entire album glorifies our RISEN SAVIOR, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and shows forth her adoration of our LORD and PRECIOUS Savior.

     In 'Trading In My Sorrows For The LORD', this "Anointed Rose" demonstrates through song, that she will not sorrow anymore at all {JEREMIAH 31:12}.  She is stating the Truth that she is 'trading in her sorrows' for the Joy of the LORD {NEHEMIAH 8:10}.  This beautiful tune is also upbeat, and it should be noted that Mrs. Rose has an awesome Relationship with our Sweet SAVIOR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, as she delves deeper into here Testimony, by way of the Instrumentation of music, THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT Has Given her.

     'It's Going Home Time' really displays Mrs. Rose's Reggae roots in her twang and in the joyful disposition of all of her CHRIST-Glorifying Musicality.  She is without a doubt a woman bent on making the masses aware of what a great and undeniable Joy it is to serve our CRUCIFIED and RESURRECTED SAVIOR, The LORD and GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28}!

     'I'm Not My Own' shows forth a heart-felt Testimony of the love and adoration that Mrs. Beverly possesses for our LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, as she verbally expresses her gratitude, as we all should, for all the Blessings JESUS CHRIST Granted unto her person.  It displays a wonderful and compassionate attitude of thanksgiving unto our MASTER and shows the true heart of a worshiper found in Mrs. Rose.

     The up-tempo 'Meet You In The Rapture' remembers our JESUS when HE was reviled, not opening HIS MOUTH {1 PETER 2:23, ISAIAH 53:7}, being obedient unto death, as the HOLY WORD OF GOD SAYS, "even the death of the Cross {PHILIPPIANS 2:8}.".  It shows Mrs. Rose as following in the SAVIOR'S HOLY FOOT STEPS, while waiting and preparing other listeners of her music for the Rapture of us the Church, that will take place when our HEAVENLY FATHER Gives JESUS, THE SON OF GOD {1 JOHN 5:10}, THE WORD, To Return to the earth, and take us, who believe in HIS TRIUMPHANT DEATH AND THIRD DAY RESURRECTION {SAINT JOHN CHAPTER'S 19 AND 20} Home {1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17}.

     Next, 'Up On The Mountain' is Mrs. Rose declaring, as the song suggests, that she delights to be 'Up On The Mountain' with our LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, seemingly wishing for the day, as we all do, when our LORD JESUS Will return and she will forever be with HIM.  This song has a mellow and up-tempo feel to it, and with the other songs on the album fit right in place with a purposeful worship of our LORD GOD, Our HEAVELY FATHER, our BELOVED JESUS CHRIST, and our DELIGHTFULLY-PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT.

     'Before The Night Is Over' shows a lament for the day to dawn {PSALM 30:5}, and for JESUS to bring a breakthrough through the burdens of night we all face as believers.  However, Mrs. Rose, as is her manner, is not laying down and staying there, she is encouraging herself and the listener that ALMIGHTY JESUS, our GOD Will come through, and when the enemy lies and says that "there is no way", we know that CHRIST JESUS IS THE WAY, and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE {SAINT JOHN 14:6}.  With HIM on our side {PSALM 118:6}, we always have hope.

     In "When JESUS Come To Town" this 'Anointed Rose' sees JESUS AS THE FIRE MAN.  We know that our GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE {HEBREWS 12:29}.  So this juxtaposition is well-received.  She states that no one can hide "When the FIRE MAN Comes to Town".  As with most of this beautiful rendition of the heart of a Worshiper, this song as you would imagine is up-tempo and refreshing.  It is duly apparent and should be noted that Mrs. Rose knows the 'FIRE MAN' she sings about, and wants the listener to have this relationship with the SON OF GOD, as well.

   

  'Mustard Seed' as the title aptly suggests is about JESUS Teaching us about the Power of our Faith.  The WORD OF GOD, THE HOLY BIBLE, States that "if we have faith as a grain of mustard seed...", we could say unto a sycamine tree (or any adversarial circumstance for that matter) be thou removed, and it should obey us (SAINT LUKE 17:6).  As an encourager, and edifier in all of her music, Mrs. Beverly puts her best CHRIST-Glorifying foot forward, making the listener aware that all hope is not lost, and with faith in CHRIST JESUS, we can do all things {PHILIPPIANS 4:13}.

     Lastly, 'My GOD Is Still On HIS Throne' reminds us that JESUS IS STILL ON THE THRONE!  This same GOD, this same JESUS {ACTS 1:11}, that was CRUCIFIED, DIED, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE AGAIN {SAINT MATTHEW 20:19, SAINT MARK 16:6}, is the same GOD Telling us to not worry {SAINT MATTHEW 6:34 - HOLY BIBLE - New International Version}.  HE IS STILL, and FOREVER WILL BE ON HIS THRONE {HEBREWS 4:16, REVELATION 1:4}!  We are encouraged to, and it does us good to remember this whenever, the stupid devil tries to make us feel down-trodden, because of adversarial circumstances in our lives.

    

      This album, my friend is a refreshing display of what our LORD JESUS CHRIST Can Accomplish in a soul turned towards Giving ALMIGHTY GOD, through CHRIST, HIS GLORY {ROMANS 16:27}, and willing to show forth the Love HE Gives us to a lost and hurting world, in order that all might be saved, and come unto the saving KNOWLEDGE of our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 3:16-21}.  "Little children keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}
